History
- The squadron was raised on 07 Feb 1991 by Air Marshal DS Sabhiki
- Oscar squadron became the only squadron to win the COS banner in the term it was raised and thus came to be called as the squadron ‘Born with the Banner’.

The 102 Course set up a new tradition to win the Rovers Plaque and since then, all succeeding courses have worked hard to maintain it

Traditions |
- Camps: Oscar Squadron always performs well in camps and has bagged Rovers Championship Plaque consecutively for six terms from 102 Course to 107 Course. 111 Course and 112 Course also retained the Rovers plaque. Similarly, 102 Course to 104 Course also won the Camp Trishul plaque.

Latest Happenings |
- Oscar Squadron has also set a new tradition of winning the Inter Squadron Cross Country Championship. It won the coveted 'Glider' in AT05, came third in ST-06 and won again in AT-06. The Squadron is determined to repeat the feat in the coming terms.
- The Squadron has done away with many meaningless traditions. No more do juniors park their seniors' bikes, nor are they denied tea and there is a complete stop to 'managing'.
- The Squadron had won the Inter Squadron Drill Competition Trophy in ST06, and with the competition coming closer in the current term,it is determined to retain the trophy.
